A True Lunchtime Tummy-Shrinking Procedure
Dr. Bill Johnson’s Innovations MedSpa, a leader in the medspa
industry that offers many of the latest innovative treatments in
the U.S., announced it will be the first in the nation to offer
Thermage DC with the new Thermage 16cm2 tip, an advancement on the
new body-shaping procedure.
Dr. Johnson removed five inches from a woman’s waist on a live Good
Morning Texas segment using Thermage DC with the new tip, which
requires no surgery or downtime and patients remain completely
awake. The Thermage DC treatment typically takes five hours,
depending on the area treated, but with the new 16cm2 tip, the
procedure will now take under one hour and will mean less pain for
patients. Thermage DC helps tighten, firm and shape the body in a
single treatment without surgery, injections— and all with little
or no downtime. Thermage DC heats 79% deeper than the original
Thermage for increased collagen tightening in the subcutaneous
layer of the skin for the abdomen, “love handles,” thighs, buttocks
and arm areas. The treatment is ideal for patients who are not
significantly overweight but want deep tightening of sagging skin
and reduction of unwanted bulges.
“The Thermage DC treatment has been so popular and effective with
patients in our clinical trials and we are excited that we can now
offer this fantastic advancement to all of our patients,” said Dr.
Johnson, owner of Innovations MedSpa. “We consistently see a 1-2
inch reduction immediately and we’ve seen as many as five inches
removed as evidenced in our live television segment.”
Pricing Thermage DC treatments with the new 16cm2 tip will cost
approximately $4,000.

About Thermage Since its inception in 1995, Thermage, Inc. has
grown into one of the premier medical device companies for
aesthetic applications. The explanation for this growth is twofold:
a unique radiofrequency technology that provides a non-invasive
procedure to tighten skin; second, 33 patents and published
scientific studies that validate the technology and meet the
diverse needs of physicians and patients. The company’s first
product, the ThermaCool™ system and its ThermaTip™ delivery device,
developed new solutions to industry challenges.
Today, this innovative and expandable technology platform is being
used by over 2000 physicians worldwide. The Thermage procedure for
skin tightening has rapidly gained professional and consumer
acceptance as the new standard of treatment. The company is
continuing to explore further applications for radiofrequency
energy across a broad portfolio of aesthetic uses with the
ThermaCool System.
